Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NexDoc, including the website at www.nexdoc.org, the NexDoc mobile applications for iOS and Android, and all related features and services (together, the "Services").
The Services are operated by Augsidius Health Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 1-1-336/43, Flat No. 202, Sai Sudha Residency, Narayanaguda, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 500029 ("NexDoc", "we", "us" or "our"). "You" and "your" refer to the individual using the Services.
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About NexDoc
NexDoc is a clinical knowledge and communication platform for registered medical practitioners. It lets doctors search and review medical evidence using AI-assisted tools, discuss de-identified clinical cases with peers in Circles and discussions, and build professional profiles.
NexDoc supports clinical decision-making. It does not replace the independent professional judgement of the treating doctor, and it is not intended for use by patients or the general public.
NexDoc offers a free plan with core features, and paid subscription plans that unlock additional features.
2. Professional Eligibility
NexDoc is available only to medical practitioners who hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council in India, or with an equivalent authority in their country of practice.
- You must provide accurate registration details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
- You must tell us promptly if your registration is suspended, revoked or lapses. You may not use the Services while it is suspended, revoked or lapsed.
- We verify professional credentials before granting access to clinical features. Accounts without a valid medical registration will not be approved.
- Applications that cannot be verified automatically are reviewed by our team. If your application is declined, you may contact us at connect@augsidius.care to ask for it to be reconsidered.
We may suspend or terminate any account that does not meet these requirements.
3. Your Account
- You may register using your email address or through Google Sign-In. If you use Google Sign-In, Google's terms and privacy policy also apply to that sign-in.
- Your account is personal to you. You must not share your account or login credentials with anyone else, including colleagues, staff or students, and you must not sell or otherwise transfer your profile or account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
- Tell us immediately at connect@augsidius.care if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Clinical Use and AI-Generated Content
Important. NexDoc provides information to support registered medical practitioners. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- AI-generated responses, search results and summaries may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Before applying them to patient care, you must check them independently against current clinical guidelines, the original sources and your own professional judgement.
- You, as the treating practitioner, remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions, including diagnosis, treatment, prescribing and referral.
- Content shared by other users in Circles and discussions reflects their own views and experience. It has not been verified or endorsed by NexDoc.
- NexDoc is not a medical device and is not intended for use in emergencies. It must not be relied on in time-critical situations.
- You must not use NexDoc to provide medical advice directly to patients or members of the public.
5. Clinical Content and Patient Confidentiality
NexDoc is not designed to collect or store patient-identifiable information, and we do not create patient health records.
- Before sharing any clinical case, query or image, you must remove everything that could identify a patient. This includes names, contact details, ID numbers, dates of birth, addresses, photographs showing identifiable features, and any combination of details that could reveal a patient's identity.
- You are solely responsible for the content you share. You must make sure it complies with your patient confidentiality obligations, applicable law and your professional and ethical codes of conduct.
- Clinical queries and de-identified case content may be processed by our AI service providers to generate search results and responses, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- If patient-identifiable information is shared on NexDoc by mistake, we will remove it as soon as we become aware of it or receive a request. Please report such content to connect@augsidius.care.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
6. Community Guidelines
Circles, discussions and other shared spaces on NexDoc are professional forums for registered medical practitioners. When you take part, you agree to:
- Protect patient privacy. Share only de-identified clinical information, as described in Section 5.
- Act professionally. Engage respectfully with colleagues, critique ideas rather than people, and follow the standards of conduct expected under your professional and ethical codes.
- Ground contributions in evidence. Cite sources where possible, and clearly distinguish personal experience or opinion from established clinical guidance.
- Disclose interests. Declare any financial, commercial or institutional interest relevant to what you post, including relationships with pharmaceutical or medical device companies.
- Respect confidentiality. Do not share content from private Circles or discussions outside NexDoc without the consent of the people who posted it.
- Avoid promotion. Do not use NexDoc to advertise your practice, products or services, or to solicit patients.
Moderation
We may review, edit, remove or restrict access to content, and warn, suspend or terminate accounts, for breaches of these guidelines or these Terms. Where practical, we will tell you what action we took and why.
Reporting
If you see content that breaches these guidelines, including patient-identifiable information, please report it to connect@augsidius.care or through the in-app reporting button. We aim to review reports promptly, and reports involving patient information are given priority.
7. Prohibited Activities
You may use the Services only for their intended professional purpose. You agree not to:
- Share patient-identifiable information, including names, contact details, ID numbers, images or any details that could reveal a patient's identity.

- Share your account or login credentials with any other person, including colleagues, staff or students.

- Promote drugs, devices or commercial interests without clearly disclosing any related conflict of interest.
- Use the Services to provide medical advice directly to patients or the public.
- Use the Services to advertise or offer to sell goods or services.
- Sell or otherwise transfer your profile or account.
- Post content that is unlawful, false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening or discriminatory, or that infringes anyone else's rights.
- Copy, scrape, crawl, data-mine or otherwise extract content, AI outputs or user data from the Services by automated or manual means, except as the Services' normal features allow.
- Get around, disable or interfere with security features, usage limits or access controls, or try to manipulate or misuse the AI features.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware or any other harmful code, or interfere with or disrupt the Services or the networks connected to them.

NexDoc offers a free plan with core features and paid subscription plans with additional features. We may change the features included in each plan from time to time. If we do, we will notify you as described in Section 20.
8.2 Purchases on our website
Subscriptions purchased on our website are processed by Razorpay and charged in Indian Rupees (INR), or in another currency where shown at checkout. If you pay in a currency other than your card's or bank's currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees. We accept Visa, Mastercard and RuPay cards, UPI Autopay, and net banking or debit card mandates (eMandate). UPI Autopay and eMandate are available only for Indian bank accounts. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method for each billing period until you cancel.
8.3 Purchases in our mobile apps
Subscriptions purchased in the NexDoc iOS or Android app are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through their in-app purchase systems, in the local currency the relevant store shows. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds for these subscriptions are governed by the terms of the relevant store and must be managed through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
8.4 Renewal and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel a website subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing connect@augsidius.care. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then.
8.5 Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except for billing errors, failed activations, extended service unavailability on our side, or where the law requires a refund. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Full details, including how to request a refund and processing times, are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8.6 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase, which will apply from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
8.7 Taxes
Prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes, including GST. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout.
8.8 Payment information
We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank account details. These are handled directly by Razorpay, Apple or Google.
9. Your Content
"Your Content" means anything you post, upload or submit to the Services, including discussion posts, comments, case descriptions, queries and profile information.
- You keep ownership of Your Content.
- You grant NexDoc a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display and process Your Content as needed to operate, provide and improve the Services, and to show it to the users you share it with.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed to share Your Content, and that it complies with these Terms, including Sections 5, 6 and 7.
- When you delete your account, your profile is removed. Content you posted in shared discussions may remain visible in de-identified form so that discussion threads stay intact for other users, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
The Services and everything in them, apart from Your Content and third-party materials, belong to NexDoc or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, the arrangement of medical evidence and the AI features. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of these rights to you.
Medical literature, guidelines and other third-party sources referenced in the Services remain the property of their respective owners.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Licence to Use the Services
As long as you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services, and to install the NexDoc app on devices you own or control, for your professional use. This licence ends if your account is terminated.
12. Mobile Apps and App Stores
If you download the NexDoc app from the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- These Terms are between you and NexDoc only, not Apple or Google. NexDoc, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- To the extent permitted by law, Apple and Google have no warranty obligation for the app. If the app does not conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price, if any.
- NexDoc, not Apple or Google, is responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims and intellectual property infringement claims.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to applicable trade sanctions, and that you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for iOS users and may enforce them against you.
- You must also comply with the terms of the relevant app store.
13. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party providers, including cloud hosting, authentication (Google Sign-In), payment processing (Razorpay, Apple and Google) and AI service providers. The Services may also link to third-party websites and medical sources. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, including how we use AI service providers and how long we keep data. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with it.
15. Suspension and Termination
- You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from your account settings in the NexDoc app. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel those through the relevant store.
- We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your medical registration cannot be verified or is no longer valid, if we are required to by law, or if your use poses a risk to other users, patients or the Services.
- Where practical, we will tell you the reason for any suspension or termination and give you a chance to respond.
- When your account ends, your right to use the Services stops immediately. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10 and 16 to 22 continue to apply after termination.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Limitation of Liability

- NexDoc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or professional reputation, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms.
- NexDoc will not be liable for any clinical decision made by you or any other user, or for any outcome for any patient, whether or not that decision was informed by content on the Services.
- NexDoc's total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid to NexDoc for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
18. Indemnity

If a dispute arises out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, you and NexDoc agree first to try to resolve it informally. The party raising the dispute must send written notice to the other, and both parties will negotiate in good faith for at least 30 days from the date of that notice before starting arbitration.
19.3 Arbitration
If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it will be finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties, or failing agreement, in accordance with that Act. We will notify you of material changes to these Terms by email and/or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes relating to new features, security, compliance with applicable law or regulation, or a court order may take effect immediately on notice.
If you continue to use NexDoc after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using NexDoc and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
