COOKIE POLICY
Last updated November 02, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Augsidius Health Technologies Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our website and web application at https://www.nexdoc.org, or our mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Services"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
In some cases, information collected through cookies may be personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you use a website or web application. They are used to make it work, to make it work more efficiently, and to collect reporting information. Mobile apps use similar technologies, explained below.
Cookies set by the service owner (in this case, NexDoc) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by anyone else are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies let third parties provide features through the Services, such as sign-in, payments and analytics.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first-party and third-party cookies for two reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons so that the Services can work; we call these "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies, used only with your consent, help us understand how the Services are used so that we can improve them. We do not use cookies for advertising. The specific cookies we use are described below.
How can I control cookies?
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies, other than essential cookies. You can set your preferences in the Cookie Consent Manager, shown as a banner when you first visit our website or open the web application, and available afterwards from "Cookie settings" in the website footer and in your account settings in the web application. The Cookie Consent Manager lets you choose which categories of cookies to accept or reject. Essential cookies cannot be rejected because they are strictly necessary to provide the Services.
If you reject non-essential cookies, you can still use the Services. You can also set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies.
The specific types of first-party and third-party cookies served through our website and web application, and the purposes they serve, are described in the tables below. Please note that the specific cookies served may vary depending on the pages you visit.
Essential cookies (website and web application)
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the Services, including keeping you signed in, protecting your account and processing payments.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Type | Expires in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in and links your requests to your account | www.nexdoc.org | First-party | Until you sign out or the session ends |
| Security cookie | Protects forms and requests against forgery and misuse | www.nexdoc.org | First-party | Session |
| Cookie consent | Remembers your cookie choices | www.nexdoc.org | First-party | 12 months |
| Google Sign-In | Lets you sign in with your Google account and protects sign-in from fraud | Third-party | As set by Google | |
| Razorpay Checkout | Processes payments securely and detects payment fraud | Razorpay | Third-party | As set by Razorpay |
Analytics and performance cookies (website and web application)
These cookies collect information, in aggregate form, to help us understand how the Services are used and how well they work, and to find and fix errors. They are set only if you accept them.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Type | Expires in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors to count usage | Google Analytics | First-party | 2 years |
| _ga_# | Keeps track of a visit (session) for usage reports | Google Analytics | First-party | 2 years |
| Error monitoring | Records technical details when something breaks so we can fix it | Error and performance monitoring provider | Third-party | Session |
We have not enabled Google Analytics advertising features, including remarketing, demographics and interests reporting, or Google Signals.
How can I control cookies on my browser?
The way to refuse cookies through your browser controls varies from browser to browser. Visit your browser's help menu for more information. Links for the most popular browsers:
If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the NexDoc web application or make payments through it. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors. Our analytics tools may also use small graphic files or scripts (sometimes called "web beacons," "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs") to count visits and understand how our website and web application are used. These rely on cookies, so declining analytics cookies also limits them.
What about the NexDoc mobile apps?
The NexDoc apps for iOS and Android do not use browser cookies. They use similar technologies instead:
| Technology | Purpose | Provider | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| Secure on-device storage | Keeps you signed in and remembers your app settings | NexDoc | Essential |
| Push notification token | Sends you alerts about discussions, Circles and your account, only if you allow notifications | Apple / Google | Essential (with your device permission) |
| In-app purchase services | Processes subscriptions bought in the app | Apple App Store / Google Play | Essential |
| Analytics and crash reporting tools | Measure app usage and diagnose crashes using device and app identifiers | Analytics and crash reporting provider | Analytics and performance |
You can control notifications and app permissions in your device settings. On iOS, you can also manage tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We do not use your device's advertising identifier.
Do you use Flash cookies or Local Shared Objects?
No. We do not use Flash cookies. Our website and web application may use your browser's local storage for essential functions, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choices.
Do you serve targeted advertising?
No. We do not serve advertising, use retargeting, or allow third parties to place advertising cookies through the Services. We do not use your device's advertising identifier for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
How often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please revisit this page regularly. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change affects your consent, we will ask for it again.
